TRIP Centre, IIT Delhi signed an MoU with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), Government of India, and Indian Road Congress (IRC) to initiate 15 days curriculum/course for training of Road Safety and Safety Audit and other related matters emerge over time for benefit of highway engineers/road departments finalized for Expert Committee headed by DG(RD)&SS, MoRTH in order to maintain uniformity through out the country. This course provides an excellent opportunity for Engineers, Consultants, Practitioners, Researchers etc. to enhance knowledge, skills and certify themselves in the domain of Road Safety Engineering and Auditing. The certificate will be issued to those candidates on successfully attending the course, completion of field tasks, and written exam which will be conducted at the end of course. Examination/evaluation will be conducted for issuance of accreditation from IRC.

Target Group: Highway Engineers; Road Safety Practitioners; Traffic Engineers; Transportation Planners and Students.
Minimum B.Tech/BE Civil Engineering/ M.Tech/ME in Transportation Engineering/Highway Engineering/Highway Safety/ Transportation Planning (professionals and students)
*(Professionals with other than Civil Engineering degree and working in road safety fields can also apply. However they will be given IIT Delhi certification for participation only)
